Mankind is not the only animan that laughs, cries, thinks, feels and loves. The sooner we acknoledge that animals are emotional beings, the sooner we will cease destroying them and embrace them like our brothers and sisters.

It is for this reason that we in pre-prep choose to celebrate this day to make the children understand the need for elephant protection, preservation and their importance in our ecosystem.

We discussed with the children about how best elephants can be protected from poachers because no one in the world needs the elephant tusks but the elephant.
